Taste The Willowbend Difference
One of the best things about life is indulging in delicious food. At Willowbend, our residents enjoy healthy, flavorful meals every day made with fresh and locally-sourced ingredients.
Our culinary works of art, inspired by our award-winning Executive Chef Reynold and Willowbend’s certified Dietary Manager, provide a charming and luxurious dining experience every day.

Chef Reynold, with 40 years of experience and training from the Culinary Institute of New York, expertly trains our dietary managers and chefs on how to turn ordinary food into meals that look and taste extraordinary.

The secret to his culinary genius is highlighting southern flavors and cooking techniques that residents grew up with and used themselves – reminding them of cherished traditions and family recipes.

Chef Reynold and our talented Dietary Manager, along with our passionate culinary staff, ensure that a dash of soul and plenty of flavor go into every dish for a truly memorable dining experience. This means residents enjoy traditional country cooking made from scratch, soups from homemade broths, and pureed foods plated like they’re works of art.

In addition to everyday dining, our dietary staff often holds special events, such as gourmet tastings, food demonstrations, and food pairings in the dining room. Reminiscing with food is also important at Willowbend, as we all know how powerful food memories can be. Residents’ hearts and emotions are often tied to the taste, smell, and even sight of many comfort foods at our events.

At Willowbend, the ultimate restaurant-style dining experience is merely a short walk from our resident suites. While outings to local restaurants are not uncommon, our residents don’t have to leave Willowbend to enjoy the charming atmosphere, attentive service, and beautifully-plated meals found in our dining room.

The linen tablecloths, quality dishware, and exceptional service are reminiscent of hotel dining or restaurant amenities, but is actually your new kitchen table – serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
